Myles was born in 1983 in Orange County, California. He grew up in Southern California where he attended Murrieta Valley High School (MVHS). It was at MVHS that Myles developed his fascination with business. During his junior year at MVHS Myles took introductory business and accounting classes and quickly realized that accounting was the language of business. Upon that realization Myles decided to study Economics and Accounting at the University of California Irvine (UCI). While pursuing his degree at UCI he co-founded the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi on campus. Myles saw membership grow from two students to over 50 with an increasing number of alumni each year. During his junior year at UCI Myles completed an internship with Deloitte & Touche in their Business Advisory Services practice. In his senior year he spent nine months working with Dave in his practice focusing primarily on tax services.
Immediately following graduation from UCI Myles began employment at Deloitte & Touche in their Business Advisory Services practice. There he performed operational and regulatory compliance reviews around various business operations, i.e. the processes for the collection of revenue, the recording of transactions within an accounting system, and processes for the procurement of inventory and the safeguarding of assets. After a year in Business Advisory Myles transferred to the Tax department where he serviced partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp, and high net worth clients. While at Deloitte Myles obtained his CPA license and decided that he would like to take his experience and work more personally with clients. He is excited to be working with Dave and bring his experience to serve the clients of the firm where exceptional service and strict attention to the needs of our clients is paramount.
